Mud Truck Drag Racing Rules

Mud Drag and FALL BRAWL GENERAL EVENT RULES

-No open flames

-No fighting

-No alcohol allowed on premises

-No Driving in the pits/ Other than designated Race staging areas.

-No Pets

-No Scooters, Bicycles, mopeds, or non Race participant motorized vehicles allowed.

-No overnight camping.

-No vulgar or obscene language, signage, gestures etc.

-All vehicles will be inspected prior to any race participation

-All race results and decisions are final.

-All race Officials, Judges, Promoters, Sumter Fair Assoc. Sumter County will not be held

 responsible for any race vehicle failure, event mishaps, participant injury, etc.

TRUCK CLASSES;

-Attire requirements; No open toe shoes, Drivers must wear DOT/ SNELL approved helmets.

-All trucks must pass tech. ( brakes, fire hazards, steering mech. Suitable tires, windshield,

-Seatbelt, door locks, but not limited to.)

-Brakes must work and function properly.

-Steering must act & react properly.

-Tires must be suitable to race, unsafe tires will not be allowed, no paddle tires allowed.

-Windshield must be in and free from cracks.

-If there is no windshield, then a center support between the fire wall and the roof must be installed,

welded in place.

-All door lock mechanisms must function properly. If door locks do not function, all the doors in the race vehicle

must be wired or bolted shut.

-All drive shafts & u joints must be free from any unsafe movements.

-All debris must be removed from the entire vehicle.

-Seatbelts must function and be worn during any race event.

-All hood latches & mechanisms must operate properly.

-All tailgate latches must operate properly.

-Tailgates can be removed.

-All race vehicles must run on GAS ONLY!! NO ALCOHOL, METHANOL, NITROUS, OR OCTANE BOOSTERS.

-All vehicles must have less than 5 gallons of fuel in there fuel cell during a race.

-All fuel cells must be fastened as per the original manufacturer’s specs.

-Plastic fuel cells allowed, but must be fastened properly in the bed of the truck.

-All modified fuel lines must be enclosed in PVC tubing and fastened properly.
